Beta Testing Agreement

Effective: December 8, 2025

1. Beta Program

By participating in the hex-forge beta program through Apple TestFlight, you agree to these terms. This is pre-release software provided for testing and feedback purposes.

2. Beta Software Disclaimer

hex-forge beta is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. You acknowledge that:

  • Beta software may contain bugs, errors, and incomplete features
  • The app may crash, lose data, or behave unexpectedly
  • Features may change or be removed before final release
  • Performance may not reflect the final product

3. Data and Privacy

During beta testing:

  • All workout data is stored locally on your device
  • We do not collect personal information or analytics
  • Crash reports may be sent to Apple (per TestFlight terms)
  • Data may be lost due to bugs or updates - back up important information

4. Feedback

We welcome your feedback to improve hex-forge. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use your suggestions, ideas, and bug reports to improve the app without compensation or attribution.

5. Confidentiality

Beta features and functionality are not confidential. You may share screenshots and discuss the app publicly. However, we appreciate if you:

  • Report bugs to us before posting publicly
  • Note that features may change before release

6. No Guarantee of Release

Participation in the beta does not guarantee:

  • Access to the final released app
  • Any specific features in the final release
  • Continued access to the beta program

7. Termination

We may end your beta access at any time for any reason. You may leave the beta program at any time by deleting the app or opting out via TestFlight.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hexul and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of beta software, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or workout history
  • Device issues or performance degradation
  • Inability to use the app
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Apple TestFlight

This beta is distributed via Apple TestFlight. Your use is also subject to:

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the beta after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
